ATTACK of the dreaded Swine flu!!!

After a VERY LONG 10 days ofeveryone besids myself, (as of yet), getting thedreaded Swine Flu, the by are back in school, Anthony is back at work, Kori Jo is back to herself again, and I m one TIRED Mama from all the disinfecting, cleaning, and being "Nurse Kristin"!

I am very greatful that God has spared me, (so far), so that I could have all my strength to take care of my family, ankep up with the cleaning, etc. I felt like I was running a small clinic, but thankful all the same.

Kori Jo is TWO!!! I can hardly believe it! She had a very blessed birthday, and we thank everyone who has been a part, not only of her birtday, but in her life as well.

Korin modeling her new clothes!
A bit of good news I would like to share: I had applied fo the position of th freelance photographer for the Sugar Land Magazine down here, and it had almost been a month since I had heard from anyone, and I was about to believe that it just wasn't meant to be, and making my peace with that fact, when I got an email from the editor telling me Congratulations! and that I was chosen to be the new freelance photographer for the Sugar Land Magazine, and that she will contact me soon for my new assignments! My pictures will be in the next issue! I am so excited and nervous at the same time, and awed by the way God keeps on giving in my new adventure! I pray that I can give glory to God with these new gifts!

Below are a few pictures from this month. To view a few pictures of Korins birthday, click the link below:

We made "bat masks" when they were sick with the flu. This is Cline with Korin. Caleb actually had made a bat mask at school on the same day!

Korin's new Apron!

I made Kori Jo a new Apron for her brithday to play "house" and "kitchen" with last night. Below are a couple photos! I can hardly believe she is almost 2 years old. It was only yesterday I was holding her little 5 lb. 15 oz. body in my arms, with her big eyes looking at her new world. She is now a vibrant, outspoken, adamant little Toddler. She is girlie and sweet, but knows how to take care of herself around the her big brothers, and likes to hold bugs in her hand! She always asks for "coffee cup" in the mornings, and I always give in and let her have my last sips.

If you're in the area, stop by for her birthday party!

Too Cute for Words!

Korin has become my personal guinea pig with photography and my little baby doll I get to dress up all the time. When I ask her to fold her hands and tilt her head or anything like that, she does it willingly! These pictures are too cute for words and warms my heart straight to the core! I love that little sassy personality of our Kori Jo! I can hardly believe she is almost 2!

Anthony Update

As a lot of you may know, Anthony has been very very ill for the past 5 weeks. He was hoping he could shake it, (when I was in the background screaming at him to GO TO THE DOCTOR), and day after day, his condition kept getting worse. He has now lost over 20 lbs., and starting to look pale. Last week we had to go to the hospital, and his doctor was very urgent in the fact he needed a colanoscopy ASAP. This past Monday, he has had his colanoscopy, after drinking 40 oz. of this fluid that he claims tasted and felt like snot, and he is now on a prescription that should be helping him hopefully very soon! He has Colitis, that was caused by ulcers in his stomach. We are all thankful it is not Crones or cancer, but the doctor did tell us it was VERY severe and that Anthony could have been fighting for his life in the hospital for months! We have all been on edge and worried about all of this. Thank you to everyone who has prayed for us. Please continue to pray that God heals Anthony completely. We haven't found out exactly what caused the ulcers to form, but the doctor is doing a biopsy and we should get the results soon, and I will post it here when we hear something.

In God we Trust,
Kristin

First Day of School!

Photobucket
The boys are officially Kindergartners! We can hardly believe it! They have been so excited about starting school. I even made them a calendar to be able to mark off everyday until school started. The night before I let them make their own lunches, pack up all their school supplies, and pick out their own "first day" outfit. They both were full of anticipation and excitement when we took them yesterday, including the parents! I was so nervous for them both. Kori Jo misses her brothers when they go to school, but she gives them each a hug and blows them a kiss, which they pretend to catch, and there was a huge reunion yesterday after school with lots of screaming, squealing and rough-housing. Cline is in the Sharks class with Ms Schrweigert, and Caleb is in the Puppies class with Ms. Perry. They get to see each other at lunch in the cafeteria, and on the playground. I can't believe they are in big boy school!! When I picked them up yesterday, all of my anxieties ceased when I saw there happy excited faces. They talked my ear off in the car, at the same time of course, and had a BLAST at their new big kid school! Enjoy the photos! The ones with their backpacks were taken in the morning, and the others by the flowers were after school. You can definitely see a difference int here moods between the two!

Painted Pigs!

Kori Jo had me paint her finger nails and toe nails, and was so careful not to mess them up...I loved it, and had to share the photos! The other photos are from this morning, when the boys laid out their quilts, and they just looked so cute laying on the floor together, I had to capture it!

No more toddler clothes...

The boys' clothes just haven't been fitting anymore...it's like they had some kind of growth spurt or something! SO, thanks to Great Grandpa Kirchof, we were able to have the money to get them a few new clothes and I'm a little sad to say, they're not in toddler clothes anymore! Now I have to shop in the big boys section...I can't believe they are going to be 5 TOMORROW!!! We got the clothes in yesterday, and they were SOOOOO excited! They have always been excited about new clothes...I love it! Anyway, they modeled one of their new outfits, their new hats and watches. They love having a watch of their very own. They are just starting to tell time, and it is fun for them. Below are some photos in their new outfit and of course a few of little Kori Jo. Enjoy!
