I found these awesome free printable props at Barefoot Beads {Hawaii}, and my kids and I had a blast with them! I just used some small and skinny 12 inch dowels, and printed these onto card stock, and used a hot glue gun to attach! Below is a picture of our little Korin modeling her new props. :) Just click the pictures below to download!

New adventures!
It has been so busy getting back into the swing of things with school, business picking up, and trying to get a head start on Christmas gifts! But, God has been so good. Everyday, He amazes me with little blessings here and there, like little butterfly kisses from him on my cheeks.
Caleb and Cline started baseball on Saturday and they LOVE it! They were a little timid at first, but now they are super excited, and even practiced AGAIN on Sunday with Anthony at the fields. They catch and hit so well! Total naturals I tell them. They've been carrying around their new baseball bags all around the house with their helmet, bat, cleats, and glove in them. It reminds me of when I first made the Elkins Elite Danceteam, and we received out blue and yellow Elite bag with name and everything on it. I was so PROUD to carry that around for the first time. That bag resembled acceptance and being a part of something really special. I am so happy for them. It excites me to see how excited they are. Korin is a little disappointed because she wants to be out their swinging that bat too. She'll make a great cheerleader this season.
Below are a few pictures of the boys first practice, and a pic of Korin with her photo props we made the other day. Of course you can't forget Rascal and Anthony! We also went to visit Valerie and Rodo's house the other day, and it looks so nice!! Rodolfo has done an amazing job painting and Val with decorating. Brought the kids with us, so their house is officially "broken in". Poor Cline hurt himself from playing on their stairs, pictures below. The pictures with the smurfs is a funny story. Growing up, being Valerie's little sister, I wanted to touch and hold everything she owned- especially her cabbage patch and smurf figurines. Unfortunately, she wouldn't let me touch them with a ten foot pole, EVER. I had heard she ran into them moving into their new house, so, naturally, I asked her to bring them out because I think it's time I get to touch and hold them. Reluctantly, STILL, she let me! And she let Korin and Cline touch them too. Thank you Valerie.;) A lifelong dream, finally came true. :)

Friday Freebie!
Today I am starting something a little new, and I'm so excited! I LOVE to create and make new designs digitally, and I want to dig a little deeper. Every Friday I will be posting freebies, whether it be my design or a free printable I want to share that I found. Today, I am want to share a free Chevron printable I designed! Well, 6 Printable's actually. I LOVE making lists, and these are perfect for all your list making! I am using the pick, as shown below, for my checklist for Korin's birthday coming up in October. I have so many things I am trying to remember for it, so I am writing it all down to make sure I don't miss a single thing! These would be cute for making grocery lists, or even a recipe you want to share with a friend or keep for yourself. If you like the font I used in Korin's Birthday List, they are called Romatiques and Carnival Freakshow and can be found and downloaded for free here. Just click on the picture to download your free printable's! Enjoy!

Crocheting is a Hoot!
Just 4 months ago, becoming so good at knitting I could do it with my eyes closed, I still had this desire to learn to crochet as well. I was so scared of it. It was too different from knitting, I told myself. I tried a few things at first, and when I couldn't do it, I said, never mind. I mean, look, I can knit now! Well, being someone that has a REALLY hard time giving up, I just couldn't leave it alone! And now I can say that I can crochet too!!! I love it and I'm having so much fun crocheting as much as my hands will let me. One of my really close friends is having a bambino soon, and her shower was last weekend. I REALLY wanted to crochet up some booties an animal. SOOOO, I made her some cute little cream colored booties and some bear slippers, and found a super cute owl pattern from Fresh Stitches on Etsy, which you can purchase here. It was so much fun, and I loved how it turned out! I have also started selling the booties and slipper which you can purchase at my Etsy Sugar Foots Shop here.

A stroll into the 40's with Madge Joan
Lately, I have been reading an old journal of my grandmother, Madge Joan, that she has written in when she was just a teenager. She has saved so many things through the years that are taped on her weathered pages, that it almost feels like I was there. I was very close to my grandma and looked up to her so much, and it has been so neat to read her "boy-crazy" thoughts and memories from when she met my grandpa, Clifford. Even after losing her to cancer, I'm still getting to know her. :) Below are a couple of things she had saved that I'll share today, and as I read, I'll share more of her life. She was an amazing woman, and I would so have been her friend in the 40's ;).

Expiliarmus!
Four years ago, when I was preggers with Korti Jo, I read the last Harry Potter book, and last Saturday night, Anthony and I went to go see the last and final "Harry Potter...The Deathly Hallows" come alive right before our eyes. It seriously rocked my face off. I loved every minute. We laughed, we cried, and the rest of the time I was on the edge of my seat, nervous for Harry. There seemed to be excitement on every turn it took, and it couldn't have ended better in my opinion.
Anthony and I are such dorks. No joke, we took our kids wands with us to the movie. Oh yeah we did. And check out these Luna Lovegood Spectrespecs! I spotted all the wrackspurts in everyone's head that night. ;)
