Just 4 months ago, becoming so good at knitting I could do it with my eyes closed, I still had this desire to learn to crochet as well. I was so scared of it. It was too different from knitting, I told myself. I tried a few things at first, and when I couldn't do it, I said, never mind. I mean, look, I can knit now! Well, being someone that has a REALLY hard time giving up, I just couldn't leave it alone! And now I can say that I can crochet too!!! I love it and I'm having so much fun crocheting as much as my hands will let me. One of my really close friends is having a bambino soon, and her shower was last weekend. I REALLY wanted to crochet up some booties an animal. SOOOO, I made her some cute little cream colored booties and some bear slippers, and found a super cute owl pattern from Fresh Stitches on Etsy, which you can purchase here.
